“We’ve stayed here every Canada Day, and it’s one of our favorite locations. The setting is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and genuinely trying their best. Unfortunately, this year’s stay was very disappointing, especially considering we spent nearly $2,000 for one night. The room was not cleaned to the standard expected from a luxury hotel. There was dust all along the baseboards and under the bed, the sofa was extremely squeaky, the dishwasher was left loaded, the teapot was dirty, and...

“Location is great. Rooms and service are just fine and do not justify the price tag. Sofa in our room had ripped leather. In room coffee was of horrible quality. Sofa bed mattress was extremely uncomfortable.”

(The staff was working hard with big groups so it may have been extra difficult to keep the public washrooms clean and tidy - which speaks more to the guests than the staff really).”

“While there was nothing wrong with the property, it was meh at best. A little run down, food was ok at best. Room all have adjoining rooms. You can hear absolutely everything coming through the door between the rooms. The place was ok, but just ok.”

Die inserierten Bilder auf Expedia sahen ordentlich aus, aber in echt war das Moorhaven einfach abgenutzt... Nach kurzer Inspektion der Unterkunft hatten wir schreckliche Kopfschmerzen von Raumduft. Also wäre durchgehend Anti-Mückenspray versprüht worden. Das Bad, heruntergekommen, voller Flecken, würde ich niemals benutzen. “The parking lot is huge. It is well maintained. The check-in process was quick, staff were very friendly. Property was extremely clean. Great flowers all around the premises. There is seating arrangement in the back looking at the river. Awesome location and very affordable pricing.”
